Infinity Sword

Specialty

An Infinity Sword is able to summon numerous Conwell swords for battle. This gives him remarkably high melee combo potential compared to most characters, most likely as a compensation for his non-existent magic attack. He also has reduced MP cost for active skills with the passive skill, Fighting Spirit and a movement and damage buff with the passive skill, Lightning Surge. 

Background

Throughout his ordeals all over the continent as the Sheath Knight, Elsword observes how the scabbard Conwell takes in the dark El energy from the infected monsters he faces. This troubles him and leads him to consult the spirit of Conwell on how to stop the contamination—Conwell must absorb the dark El energy at first and then transfer it to Elsword.

The spirit counsels Elsword that this remedy will stir the gloom in his heart, unless he conquers it with might. The red-haired boy's confidence is unfazed by the challenge before him, and he lets Conwell do what must be done. In time, the dark El energy changes them both in ability, empowering Elsword—now known as theInfinity Sword—to multiply the scabbard and call on an unlimited number of swords for battle. 

Second Class Advancement

At Lv35, Sheath Knight can advance into Infinity Sword. The second class advancement quest is obtained from Ariel, the event NPC located in every town.
Infinity Sword can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: Dark Elshard Fragment.

Infinity Sword

1. Speak with Altera Pongo Elder Adel.
2. Collect 50 Nasod Chips from any Nasod throughout the Altera region.
   • Recommended to run Return Plains.
3. Defeat:
   • Crow Rider 3 times in Nasod Foundry on any difficulty.
   • King Nasod 3 times in Altera Core on any difficulty.
4. Speak with Lento in Feita.
5. Collect 10 Drops from Glitter monsters in Feita.
   • Recommended to run Shrine of Dedication Entrance, Very Hard.

ShK

Sheath Knight

Specialty

The Sheath Knight is able to materialize the legendary "Conwell" sword at will after harnessing its power, allowing him to attack with two swords at any time and inflict endless amounts of hits in an instant with his new combos not thought possible before. 

Background

Already a veteran of many battles at a young age, Elsword still feels the need to become even stronger, and the need to create his own sword-fighting art. During his quests, he discovers an ancient hidden treasure, a scabbard named Conwell.

This scabbard was imbued by its creator with the power to summon a second great sword at will. With this power, Elsword could wield 2 massive swords at the same time and become a peerless warrior. Elsword makes a pact with the mystical scabbard and quickly begins to develop his own fighting style using the dual-wielding technique.

Elsword travels the land of Elrios with friends in search of the El, making a name for himself wherever he goes. People of the land soon begin to talk of the great swordsman who travels with the magic scabbard Conwell - the Sheath Knight. 

First Class Advancement

After completing the Knight quest chain, Elsword can decide between advancing as a Sword Knight, Magic Knight or Sheath Knight.
Sheath Knight can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: Sheath Knight's Medal.

Sheath Knight

1. Talk to Hoffman in Elder.
2. Clear Underground Waterway on Very Hard within 10 minutes (☆☆☆).
3. Clear Suburbs of Wally's Castle on Very Hard (☆☆☆).
4. Collect 1 drop from Wally No. 8 from Wally's Castle on Very Hard (☆☆☆).

Upon reaching level 35, a Sheath Knight can job advance to an Infinity Sword. 

RS

Rune Slayer

Specialty

The Rune Slayer combines the best of both attack types—physical and magical, especially after incorporating the use of runes. These runes are manipulative in various degrees, perfectly complimenting the Rune Slayer's combat style. Unlike the fireballs used previously, runes provide much better utility in combat: it still provides ranged combat like its predecessor, but with the added function of causing splash magic damage alongside with swordplay in perfect unison. 

Background

While traveling, Elsword decides to practice his magic skills so that he can become stronger. He goes to Vanessa in Velder for help, and she explains to him that he can start using runes instead of fireballs to increase his power. Soon Elsword starts to use the runes he got from training, and this allowed him to become a stronger magic knight, thus giving him the name, Rune Slayer. 

Second Class Advancement

At Lv35, Magic Knight can advance into Rune Slayer. The second class advancement quest is obtained from Ariel, the event NPC located in every town.
Rune Slayer can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: Rune Slayer Mark.

Rune Slayer

1. Speak with Adel in Altera.
2. Collect 5 Memory Alloys from any Nasod monsters in the Altera region on any difficulty.
3. Defeat:
   • Crow Rider 3 times in Nasod Foundry on any difficulty.
   • Nasod King 3 times on Altera Core on any difficulty.
4. Speak with Lento in Feita.
5. Collect drops from monsters throughout the Feita region:
   • 10 Purified Magic Crystals from Glitter Necromancers.
   • 10 Footprint Rock Fragments from any Golems.
   • 10 Purified Power Crystals from any Glitter Soldiers (except Necromancers).
     • Recommended: Run Shrine of Dedication Entrance or Spiral Corridor for Golem's andGlitter Soldier's drops. For Necromancers, Underground Chapel is recommended.
     • Strangely, the Purified Magic Crystal's drop rate in 5-2 is higher than other dungeons.

MK

Magic Knight

Specialty

The Magic Knight is a swordsman with magical abilities. He has a flaming fist that throws fireballs to both distract and destroy. This gives the otherwise close quarter fighter a few ranged attacks that can be combined to make the hot headed Elsword an incendiary opponent. The Magic Knight is uniquely suited to control large mobs. 

Background

During his travels, Elsword found out that he was very vulnerable to magical type attacks. He decides to go to Echo for help, who told him the only way to cover up this weakness was to become a Magic Knight. Elsword decides to become one in order to cover up this weakness. He absorbed some magical powers through a ritual, and became a Magic Knight. Being able to use magic attacks now allows Elsword to become a more balanced character, specializing in both Melee and Ranged attacks. 

First Class Advancement

After completing the Knight quest chain, Elsword can decide between advancing as a Sword Knight, Magic Knight orSheath Knight.
Magic Knight can also be obtained by using the Cash Shop item: Magic Knight's Medal.

Magic Knight

1. Kill Wally No.8 at Wally's Castle on any difficulty.
2. Collect 7 Mickey Tails from Mickeys at Underground Waterway on Very Hard(☆☆☆).
3. Clear Wally's Castle on Hard(☆☆) with at least a B rank or above.
4. Collect the 'Exequatur of Velder Principality' from Wally's Guardians at Wally's Castle on Very Hard(☆☆☆).

At Lv35, a Magic Knight can advance into a Rune Slayer. 

LK

Lord Knight

Specialty

A whole new level of combos, skills, and style is unleashed when Elsword advances into a Lord Knight. As his combos are extended, his melee attacks become more powerful. Keep your enemies on the ground or launch them into the air with powerful combos - it's up to you. This melee-type class has the maximum attack speed among all the other classes. Its quick slash could knock down the enemy in the blink of an eye making him an extremely deadly swordsman, the Lord Knight! 

Background

As soon as Elsword arrived in Velder, he began to train his swordsmanship skills once more. Being tested by Vanessa, Elsword grew stronger than ever before. Soon the other knights in Velder started to respect him, and he was dubbed Lord Knight. 

Second Class Advancement

At Lv35, Sword Knight can advance into Lord Knight. The second class advancement quest is obtained from Ariel, the event NPC located in every town.
Lord Knight can also be obtained by using the Item Mall item: Lord Knight Certificate.

Lord Knight

1. Speak with Adel in Altera.
2. Collect 50 Memory Alloy from any Nasod monsters in the Altera region on any difficulty.
3. Defeat:
   • Crow Rider 3 times in 4-5 on any difficulty.
   • King Nasod 3 times in 4-6 on any difficulty.
4. Speak with Lento in Feita.
5. Collect 100 Arc Glitter's Insignia from any Glitter monsters in the Feita region on any difficulty.
   • In KR and EU Server, its quest descriptions showns that this quest items only drop for Glitter Defender, Glitter Archer, Glitter Spearman and Glitter Necromancer. This is incorrect as Glitter Pounder also drop this quest item.

SK

Sword Knight

Specialty

The Sword Knight is an amped up swordsman. With experience comes expertise. This job has good combo technique and gains more MP than any other class. Elsword's melee attacks become powerful, strong enough to destroy armor and leave an enemy defenseless. He can also fight multiple targets at once. 1 on 1, though, he's almost unbeatable. 

Background

Elsword was always a strong willed Knight. He never gave up, always trying to become stronger. Improving his skills like never before, he began to create new ways of fighting with his sword with more speed. After being trained by the people of Elder, he became known as the mighty Sword Knight. 

First Class Advancement

After completing the Knight quest chain, Elsword can decide between advancing as a Sword Knight,Magic Knight or Sheath Knight.

Sword Knight

1. Eliminate the following monsters in Wally's Castle on any difficulty.
   • 5 Wally's Guardians
   • 8 Crossbow Soldiers
2. Clear Wally's Castle on Hard or above (☆☆+) with at least a B rank.
3. Collect 7 Mickey Tails from Mickeys in Underground Waterway on Very Hard(☆☆☆).
4. Collect the Exequatur of Velder Principality from one of Wally's Guardians at Wally's Castle onVery Hard(☆☆☆).

At Lv35, a Sword Knight can advance into a Lord Knight. 

Elsword

Specialty

Elsword is a master swordsman that excels at close range combat. He's quick on his feet and can hack and slash with the best of them. Not only can he dish it out, but he can take a lot of punishment as well. His only real weakness is magic, but in his mind, there's nothing a sharp piece of steel can't beat. 

Special Ability

Main Article: Way of the Sword
The "Way of the Sword" ability (initially exclusive to Elsword prior to Elesis's release) enables him to utilize energy gained through attacks and skills into 2 types of auras: Aura of Destruction and Aura of Vitality. 

Background

Elsword is an ambitious but hot-headed young swordsman trained by his sister Elesis, the leader of the Red Mercenary Knights. Elesis left her little brother to lead a mission, never to return. Elsword now searches the land for two things: El, the precious gems that power his kingdom, and his missing sister. 

First Class Advancement

Elsword is required to be Lv.15 to begin his first class advancement.

Knight

1. Begin the quest by talking with Lenphad at the Equipment Shop in Elder Village.
2. Kill 15 Bomber Mongs in 2-4 on any difficulty.
3. Kill 14 Jango & Kid Phoru in 2-4 on hard or higher.
4. Talk to the Accessory Shop Owner in Elder, Luichel
5. Complete 2-4 on Very Hard within 15 minutes.

After completing the Knight quest chain, Elsword can decide between advancing as a Sword Knight, Magic Knight, or Sheath Knight.
